Youngs had identified 16 x "Focus Pubs" within their estate that had the potential to drive more sales and profit to the business. We were approached to develop a clear strategy to identify reasons for underperformance and a plan to turn those businesses around.
After an intensive research program to identify the reasons for under performance, we rebuilt the pub brands to be in the best possible position to create noise and drive sales locally. In many cases this involved a complete rebrand and repositioning strategy.
The rebrand of each pub was supported by a significant local marketing push over a 1-3 month period, which was typically a combination of social media, advertising, experiential, event and promotional activity.
We used our team of High Street Heroes as Brand Ambassadors for each pub, reaching out to the local consumer with marketing messages that were designed to create buzz and word of mouth.
